Booking terms

These terms apply to every chair massage booking with Estuary, a partnership of Niya Shambler and Justin Deery. By confirming a booking, you agree to them.

Bookings

  • A booking is confirmed once we have agreed the date, time, location and number of therapists with you in writing.
  • Prices are per therapist and include travel within London and Kent. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added.
  • Regular bookings keep the same price for 12 months from the first session.

Deposits and payment

  • For bookings of four or more therapists, a 50% deposit is due before the event.
  • No deposit is needed when staff pay for their own massages.
  • We invoice after the session. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date, unless we have agreed longer terms with you in writing.

When staff pay for their own massages

Before the day, we will agree with you a minimum number of staff bookings needed for the session to go ahead. If that number has not been reached by the date we agree, we may cancel or reschedule the session, at no cost to you.

Cancellations

  • More than 10 days before the session: free of charge.
  • Within 10 days of the session: 50% of the booking fee.
  • Within 48 hours of the session: the full booking fee.

If we ever have to cancel, we will offer a new date or a full refund of anything you have paid.

On the day

  • Please provide a suitable space, such as a quiet room or a clear area by the desks, and safe access for our therapists and equipment.
  • Before their first massage with us, each person completes a short health and consent form.
  • Chair massage is not suitable during the first trimester (the first 12 weeks) of pregnancy.
  • Our therapists may adapt or decline a massage if they believe it would not be safe. Chair massage is not a substitute for medical advice or treatment.

Insurance and liability

All our therapists are fully insured. We are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost working time. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
